Nvidia or ATi? Which one is the best?

It's well known the competition between the best two video card brands in the market. Let's see the upsides and downsides of them.


ATi has an excellent cost benefit relation, which is an important thing for most of us. On the other hand, the drivers are not so well developed, compared to Nvidia.

Nvidia has an outrageous perfomance and more efficient drivers. Usually they tend to heat a lot, so you have to expend more money on the cooling system.
Besides, they are considerably expensive then the equivalent ATi.

So, everything depends on what you're going to do with them.
For users that will use the graphics for multimedia or hardcore gaming, Nvidia is the best choice. You will expend some more but it will be a lot better.
To the other ones who just want a nice graphics experience, the "cheaper" ATi is better.
