Hi, It's me Skyller. Every Sunday I'm going to write a review about general game news of the week, I will also write a review about one specific game. Hope you enjoy this article. So I think I'll start with this game first.
Once again Dice made an outstanding game with the best graphics I've seen till now (there are more games to be released this year). It got an amazing story and with Frostbite 2 game engine you can prepare yourself to a new and epic full-scale WAR.
I recommend a good pair of speakers if you want to enjoy the sound of this magnificent game, if you play it you are going to see a lot of massive destruction and characters that almost feel real. There are two modes in this game, the first it's the old SP (Single Player) and the MP (Multi-Player). First let's respect the old ones.
In SP mode you will start as an elite U.S Marine, you will have a lot of fun in this mode, travelling to Europe, Middle-East, and North America. Unfortunately for you that doesn't have Internet on your PC/PS3/XBox 360, I'm sorry, the MP is the most fascinating thing in this amazing game.
It's all you ever needed: cooperation, addictive and of course, exciting.
With the new upgrades on MP mode you will not want anything else. I think this is the best thing for the undecided people to buy the game.
In another side of the MP mode is the destruction of the environment creating new escape routes or destroying your enemy cover. Oh, another thing, you can drive Humvee's, tanks, helicopters and jets.
The vehicles offer a new experience, especially tactical. You can transport your crew in an helicopter or simply launch a fast strike with the jet. It's very funny when you blow the enemy's vehicles, the part that isn't very funny is you being blown. While your driving, your teammate can be sitting in the Machine Gun place just killing!!! The bad thing, you can't practice your flying skills outside MP mode.
There are lot of class unlockables including weapons, gadgets, special gun attachments and sights that can make you the bad ass on this game. It includes a ranking system that allows you to buy this upgrades. If you like a more direct approach, just run to one enemy an stab in the face, (HUMILIATION) oh and this is an instant kill, so be careful you can be the one getting a knife on "your" face.
Every game is better played with cooperation so don't be an "hero" and do all the thing alone, because if you do that you're going to get killed. Plus it's much more fun when you do tactics with your teammates. There is also a "campaign", you can call it that way for MP mode. With six missions in smaller scale you can win some nice upgrades, but don't get too happy this missions are quite difficult.
And finally my opinion. BF3 is with no doubt an excellent FPS game, COD:MW3 isn't out yet but I think that COD will have a tough competition this time. The good things about BF3 is definitely the MP mode and is outstanding graphics. The bad thing is clearly the SP mode, in this field I think that MW3 will win, if you want to play a great FPS game then BF3 it's your guy,without a doubt one of the best games of this year.
