What they are?

Basically they are sub-notebooks, in other words, very tiny laptops, with a low processing frequency, low graphics memory, it doesn't have a CD/DVD driver, etc...

Apparently there are none upsides, but if we do some little research we'll find some utilities in this new toys which became fashion.



So, if they're tiny, they must be light and very easy to carry. The small price (it depends on the point) is a nice motive to buy one.

But.... what are they for?!

Well, netbooks are ideal for users who want to do basic things like write texts, surf on the internet, send/receive e-mails.

Personally I think that netbooks are too expensive, if you realize what they offer. If you expend a little more you can buy a reasonable notebook, a lot better than a netbook, and it doesn't narrow your options.
